ENVIS Resource Partner “Wildlife and Protected Areas” at Wildlife Institute of India (WII), Dehradun along with Gulf of Mannar Biosphere Reserve Authority have celebrated the International Day of

Biodiversity with the youth and school children in the Gulf of Mannar Marine National Park. The group of  children  and youth actively participated in cleaning of the coastal areas. Awareness about

plastic wastes and importance of Dugong conservation were main themes of the programme.
