Webinar Series on National Wildlife Week, 02 - 08 October 2024

National Wildlife Week 2024, celebrated from October 2 to October 8, focuses on raising awareness about the importance of wildlife conservation and the vital role that biodiversity plays in sustaining ecosystems. National Wildlife Week 2024, themed “Wildlife Conservation Through Co-existence,” emphasizes the importance of harmonizing human activities with wildlife preservation. This theme highlights the need for sustainable practices that allow both wildlife and human populations to thrive together. As urbanization and agricultural expansion increasingly encroach on natural habitats, conflicts between humans and wildlife have become more common. This year’s theme advocates for strategies that promote understanding and collaboration between communities and wildlife, fostering a sense of shared responsibility for the environment.
