WII- ENVIS Resource Partner at Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun is organizing Certificate Course on ‘Nature Interpretation for Zoo Guide Training Programme’ at Kamala Nehru Zoological Garden, Ahmedabad, Gujarat from 30 November - 9 December, 2019 in partnership with Central Zoo Authority and Kamala Nehru Zoological Garden.
This course will help to create a pool of skilled zoo guides who will help in disseminating information to visitors in the zoo in a entertaining manner and make the visits more interactive and interesting.
The participants of this course will be to equipped with skills which will either upscale their position if they are already in-service or enhance their chances of gaining employment.
The course includes the following modules for the GSDP participants:

Module: 11. Bird Identification
Module: 12. Butterfly Identification
Module: 13. Urban Wildlife
Module: 14. Personality Enhancement (on an everyday basis)
Module: 15. Field Activities
Module: 16. English Vocabulary (on an everyday basis)
Module: 17. First Aid
Module: 18. Group Exercise (Practical and field based)
Module: 19. Evaluation and Valedictory Session
