About Mission LiFE
The Hon'ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi unveiled Mission LiFE at the UN Climate Change Conference (UNFCCC COP26) in 2021 to put individual conduct at the forefront of the story of global climate action. Mission LiFE aims to turn its vision into observable effects. It is intended to motivate at least 1 billion Indians and other global citizens to perform both individual and group actions for environmental protection and conservation between 2022-2028. The Mission is to encourage people to engage in small, everyday actions that, when widely adopted, can drastically halt climate change. The Mission is to establish an ecosystem through the‘Pro-Planet People’ P3 community that will support and allow environmentally responsible behaviours to become self-sustaining. Everyone has a responsibility under LiFE to live in harmony with the Earth and to cause no harm to it. People who live this way are designated by LiFE as Pro Planet People.
Mission LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment) comes under seven themes:

- Adopt Sustainable Lifestyle
- Reduce Waste
- Adopt Healthy Lifestyles
- Reduce E-Waste
WII-EIACP LiFE Activity
National Workshop on Mission LiFE
EIACP Cell at the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, New Delhi organized a National Workshop on LiFE (NWL) held on 30th January 2023 at MoEFCC, New Delhi. EIACP Programme Centre Resource Partner ‘Wildlife and Protected Areas', Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun also participated and displayed products on Mission LiFE and other knowledge products.
