Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, (MoEF&CC), Government of India has launched Green Skill Development Programme (GSDP), in line with the Hon'ble Prime Minister's Skill India Mission. ENVIS Resource Partner ‘Wildlife and Protected Areas’ at Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun is organizing a GSDP Certificate Course as per details given below:

How to Apply:
Please read instructions carefully before filling online form. You may fill Online Application Form from Green Skill Development Programme Portal (http://gsdp-envis.gov.in/Default3.aspx). Applications received after last date i.e. 05.02.2020 (till 1500 hrs.) will not be considered by screening committee.
Selection of Candidates:
Screening Committee would screen all applications and list of candidates shortlisted for the interview will be uploaded on the website www.wiienvis.nic.in (in latest news section) on 6th February, 2020. Date, venue and time of interview would be intimated separately to shortlisted candidates. No reimbursements will be provided for attending the interview.
Selection Criteria:
First preference would be given to applicants who are unemployed, lower income group and residing in and around Protected Areas of Uttarakhand & other neighbouring states. If we don’t find adequate candidates from these states then applicants from other states would be called for interview.
Course Objective:
The course aims at imparting knowledge and skills on Remote Sensing, GIS and GPS with their use and applications in the wildlife management field.
Course Fee:
No course fee, it is FREE programme (including boarding and lodging), sponsored by ENVIS Secretariat, MoEF&CC, New Delhi.
Course Module:
The Course module includes Theory, Practical, Lab Works, Project Work and Field Visits. Course materials will be provided to all participants.
Evaluation and Assessment:
The candidates will be assessed and evaluated based on their performances in both written and practical examinations. Certificates will be issued to all trainees after successful completion of the course.
