Green Skill Development Programme (GSDP) Certificate Course on “Bird Identification and Basic Ornithology”

 

Ministry of Environment, Forest   and   Climate   Change, (MoEF&CC), Government of India has launched Green Skill Development Programme (GSDP), in line with the Hon'ble Prime Minister's Skill India Mission. WII- ENVIS Resource Partner at Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun is organizing Certificate Course on “Bird Identification and Basic Ornithology” from 30 January, 2020 at Wildlife Institute of India, Chandrabani, Dehradun. The participants of this course will be equipped with skills which will either upscale their position if they are already in-service or enhance their chances of gaining employment. The details of course are as below:

The above course is free of cost i.e. boarding, lodging and travel cost (Sleeper class train fare only) will be provided to the course participants. The Course module includes Theory, Practical, Lab Works, Project Work and Field Visits. Course materials will also be provided to the participants.

Selection of Candidates: All applications would be screened for shortlisting and selected candidates would be called for interview in person or skype or telephonic at 10 am on 23rd January, 2020 at Wildlife Institute of India (Please, provide active telephone number). 

 

Course Fee: FREE (sponsored by ENVIS, MoEF&CC) including boarding and lodging.

 

Evaluation and Assessment: The candidates will be assessed and evaluated based on their performances in both written and practical examinations. Certificates will be issued to all trainees after successful completion of the course.
