A group of students and faculty from Griffith University, Australia visited the Wildlife Institute of India led by Dr. Alexandra Coghlan, Associate Professor, Department of Tourism, Sport and Hotel Management, Griffith Business School, Griffith University and comprises of students of various fields.
This visit was a part of a three year (2017, 2018, 2019) scheme funded through Australia’s Federal Government’s Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade, with the aim of increasing Australian students’ knowledge of the Indo- Pacific region. Ms. Sounika Karmakar, Programme Officer, WII-ENVIS briefed them about the centre’s activities and distributed CDs of the publications of WII-ENVIS.
